Restaurant bewertenI love Hospital Alemán but the restaurant there has very expensive food that is not very good. The staff is indifferent to customers and Does nothing beyond the absolute mínimum
While in Buenos Aires I suffered from a sinus infection and needed to see a doctor. When you arrive, you first meet with a receptionist who takes a brief description of your ailment, assigns you a waiting number and collects payment. Since I was a tourist and not a resident, I was charged AR$600 (less than US$50). The wait to see a doctor was about an hour. She spoke a little English and was able to treat me quickly. Overall, an easier and cheaper visit than I thought it would be.
My experience was bad. I visited the Hospital Aleman for a severe respiratory illness in July 2015. The front desk staff were courteous, and after a wait of 45 minutes, I was sent to a small, windowless cubicle room of about 5 square meters. The doctor, inside, Kurt Sigmar Freitag, had extremely poor bedside manner and failed to do his professional duty to examine me for any symptoms whatsoever, dismissing my case as "just as virus" and claiming that it is impossible for me to have the flu without proffering an argument. I insisted on a blood test at least, and he consented. The lab saw me promptly but told me that I had to wait two hours for the results---an unjustifiable time for such a simple test. I was never informed of how I could retrieve the results by phone or email.I suggest trying the Swiss hospital instead of this one.
