Restaurant bewertenIf you're expecting a super Indian restaurant, this is not the place, I think what makes this restaurant so unique, is the fusion. And the fusion you can find it in the interior decor and in the dishes. Love to go there with my husband and have dinner with the light of the candles, it makes it very cozy. Dishes always recommend kind of an aloo goby they have and some other curries, portions are big, so no need to over order, Argentina is a big portion size country, for desserts I love all the cakes. If a good place to go with couples and friends. Haré Krsna!
Nice ambiance, but pretty terrible “Indian” food. The salty ‘samosas’ are really spinach empanadas. The curries are really bland Italian-type sauces. Go for dessert/ drinks, but steer clear of the faux-Indian dishes.
Queen Kunti was one of the first vegetarian restaurants in Buenos Aires, good atmosphere, warm, rich food, great lemonade. Very good care of Paloma, we explain the dishes and daily specials. Nice return.
Hidden away on a back street a few blocks from Abasto Shopping centre, Reina Kunti comes as an unexpected surprise with its warm atmosphere and living room style decor, sofas and Indian lamps and vegetarian menu (there still aren't that many vegetarian restaurants in Buenos Aires and La Reina Kunti was one of the first). Unfortunately it did disappoint us - the dishes are advertised as main courses - but they are so minicule you need to order at least two! .One dish was literally less than half a cup of rice, and the desert was the size of an oreo cookie! We almost wondered if it was a joke! The watiress was quite off-hand as well and didn't make us feel very welcome. While I agree with earlier comments that it can't be called Indian food - the flavors are fine and make a change from the usual pasta, pizza, empanada or steak places in Buenos Aires. Just be sure to order a few main courses or you will be leaving hungry!
Just like the name of one of their delicious desert, this place is simplemente maravilloso! I'm a vegetarian who doesn't eat cheese. As you imagine finding food in Argentina can be a big challenge. I was there two weeks in winter, only mediocre (best) eating food until I found this little jewel. Not only the food delicious, the place is very cozy. The mother and son in the shop make the food from scratch on per order, in a Ayurvedic way. So much flavor from simple products! We had dinner and went back to lunch the next day and had several meals there for the rest of our trip. I loved it so much my friend asked to take a cooking class from the owners so that we can cook the same food in the USA. Unfortunately, we did not have time for this, but we will be sure to come back when we come to Buenos Aires. Because of the way to make fresh food per order, it takes some time to get out for food. If you are in a hurry, this is probably not the best place for you because it does not mean to be a fast food. I think they're taking orders so they can be a possibility. Thank you for feeding me in Argentina during my time! Many good vibes.
