Down Town Matias - Buenos Aires

This pub is located in a nice place next to the train line in Belgrano R. There are some tables outside where you can enjoy a beer and one of the good option of the menu for lunch.It was a surprise! Besides the traditional argentinean specialties (milanesa and ojo de bife) there are good options with tendeloin beef dishes.The place was full in the day of the visit (lunch time on Sunday). So it is better to make a reservation. The service is ok. The negative note is that there was not Guiness (what is offensive for a pub that is self named Irish).The dishes are well served and there is a good cost effective balance.

It was a week day visit with my colleague, and I was surprised how busy was this bar. Lots of young people/couples. Bar is in a center of city, too close to subway or other transport. I liked this place so much, it's a real Iris pub, with not only great beer, but also with environment and spirit of those places where you want to stay longer to enjoy. Thank you guys, keep going the same way !!

Excellent atmosphere. Food was delicious, and so many options to choose from. Lamb irish stew, was amazing. Lomo Strogonoff was to die for. A friend ordered ribeye steak that was so tender and well cooked it was unbelievably good. Service was ok, prompt and nice. Make reservations, on a Tuesday night it was full.

Had diner at this place (Belgrano site) , meals are all right. Their service is awkward. Not enough waiters. Same waiter takes care of 40 people at once plus he pours beer at the bar. Beer arrived late at the table, we had already finished our meal and it was warm. Do not go here, it will only upset you. It is a pitty since the ambience and food are nice...
