Restaurant bewertenI had the Italian buffet with four others on Friday. The quantities were huge, we did no go hungry. Highly recommended as you receive a large selection of items. The best item was the pizzas, they were amazing, the best I have had on the coast!
Really happy with our pizzas and great setting. Definitely will be returning as it was difficult choosing what to eat with so many good choices. Dessert options looked great but we didn't have time.
Was wandering the corridors of life....I mean Maroochydore .....not intending to go to a Restaurant and spotted Dolcetti trattoria in where at lest 3 incarnations of other Restaurants (think Wine Bar etc) had fallen by the way side. Propped and read the menu and noticed a wood fired pizza oven so decided to share a taste with the first wife.A small special card on the table suggested a pizza and a glass of Twin Peaks Savvy Bonk for $19 a person.....seemed good value when one could pick any of the 10 odd styles. The picks were Funghi and Calabrese and we settled in for a chat.Did not notice time but the waiter explained there had been a mix up and our pizza would be a little longer and topped up our glasses......good service skills.Pizzas were great and the thin crust was Italiano style and would not suit the "Dominos fat crust set" perfecto. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the pizza needed a bit more to set the middle crust on the Calabrese.....so I will ask for a watch on that next time.Did notice the meals going out to another table which was at least 8 Italians grazing with abandon and the range looked very good. Will gather up the mates and head back for a leisurely lunch in the future.
Dined here last Friday night for the first time after hearing great reviews about this new place on Duporth Avenue.Well, they didn't disappoint. Both of us had a pizza (not knowing that they were absolutely HUGE and meant to be shared) but we weren't worried because that meant leftovers for lunch the next day!The pizzas were wood fired and so fresh and delicious!I had a dessert from the cabinet and it was also to die for!The service was great and waitresses all very friendly.Only fault was it was a tiny bit pricey but we didn't mind paying it for such good food! Will definitely be back :)
I went to Dolcetti for lunch today with a friend and had a fantastic time. We enjoyed a 3-hour meal as we indulged in the $35 per person 'Wog' lunch special. It was deliciously inappropriate! The lunch included a glass of house wine or beer, generous portions of antipasto, pasta, homemade sausages & polenta, and 4 shot glass desserts to share. We ended up ordering another bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal. The service was excellent, thanks to Amanda. The restaurant had a nice ambiance with lots of laughter and enjoyment in the background. I wish the restaurant and staff all the best, as they have a great menu and atmosphere for dining both inside and outside.
