The Globe Inn - Buckfastleigh

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the village. However, the bar does close early if there aren’t many customers, as it's a small village. Buckfast and the abbey are just a mile away, and while that area is also small, the abbey is definitely worth a visit. It is a working abbey and very well-maintained, not a ruin at all. Overall, we had a great stay and would certainly return if we needed to!

I visited this place to play bingo and ordered cheesy chips for my son. The chips were real and came in a generous portion. The drinks were reasonably priced. Overall, I would rate the service and location both as 5 out of 5.

This restaurant boasts a fantastic central location, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a drink. The owners are very friendly, and there's a lovely sheltered area outside. With plenty of seating available, it’s a popular choice for sports fans. While there is no dedicated parking lot, you can find on-street parking and two nearby parking lots. It's situated in a beautiful village that adds to its charm. Ratings: Service: 5, Location: 5. Highlights: Quiet atmosphere, great value.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The quality of the mattress and bed linen was excellent, and the shower pressure was fantastic. Everything we needed was provided. Thank you for accommodating us!
