Twin Oaks - Brunswick

Always stop a leak and get their famous pumices. The best in the whole country. Love? Dear Twin Oaks since I was a teenager and I'm 82 now.

It's an absolute must if you don't have it yet. I've eaten there for years and never had anything I don't love absolutely. The service is top Notch as well as the weather that you can dinate in execution or curb page service.

From servers to the BBQ this establishment is in my personal opinion one of the best that Brunswick GA has to offer. I have personally been eating at Twin Oaks since I can't remember, I was just simply too young to remember. However, I can remember when Twin Oaks stood out for me, as I am 37 years old and the oldest memory for me is when I was about 7 years old and having the best BBQ and double battered fries ever. I have never been here and not ordered the Jumbo BBQ sandwich and a large order of fries with a large sweet tea. I have not tasted another meal on the menu ever. Thank you everyone at Twin Oaks for 30 years of my life having you in it.

While visiting Saint Simons and Jeckle I decided to have fun with a Brunswick Stew Challenge in Brunswick GA. I only had time to try 2 recommendations from the Saint Simon 's visitor center (see my profile for review of 1st stew . This was the 2nd and I had to bring it home to eat the next day. I 'm GA raised and love all kinds of Brunswick stews. I judge places on if their stews need help with bbq sauce or not. This stew does not need any help : This stew is spicy and sweet with huge chunks of veggies. I dare say it could have used a little more meats, and the dominant veggie was sweet peas (most likely from can which was a little much in my opinion. I look forward to re-challenging the stews of Brunswick the next time I visit. I also look forward to enjoying some BBQ from here. The prices are great and the quality looks pretty good according to the other reviews.
