Restaurant bewertenEating was really good, but it seemed like nobody wanted to wait for us. we ordered drinks and an appetizer. we have the appetizers, but we had to wait and wait until the waitress comes over so that we could get silverware, because she wasn't the one who brought the appetizer out. then we had to remind them that we had not ordered our meal. she was friendly when she was waiting for us, but only not attentive otherwise.
Stopped here on our way to Dallas, TX, and boy am I glad we did!! Food was incredibly delicious and well prepared! DJ was our server and he was attentive and on top of our order.
Fried Mushrooms were Humongous!!! Absolutely delicious! Chicken fried steak was tender not over breaded and French dip sandwich was melt in your mouth yum yum. I tip my hat to the cook!! Service was exceptional. Our waitress, Lauren, was sweet and outgoing. Very comfortable setting. You can tell the people here truly care about their restaurant customers.
Dropped in on a busy Saturday afternoon during a softball tournament, and they were packed. Staff was super friendly and prompt. Food has a nice artisan touch, but also hardy- hand cut fries and wholemade onion rings.. Great building, check out upstairs!
We stumbled upon Eagles' Landing as we traveled down I35. Located just off of the interstate in the tiny town of Eddy, it would be easy to miss, but don't make that mistake! Our server, Kendal, was kind and attentive. Service was quick, and the food was a rare find these days delicious AND reasonably priced! We enjoyed the tender, hand battered steak fingers and chicken strips, along with fresh cut fries and veggies. I was glad that my son and I split the chicken because the dessert was to die for!! Cleverly named The Eagle's Nest it includes your choice of chocolate or banana pudding (or if you're like us, get a scoop of BOTH sandwiched between a fried donut and topped with whipped cream and a donut hole. This is definitely a new family favorite. Can't wait to come back!
