Restaurant bewertenThe customer service was great, but the wait time was pretty long. It's best to call ahead and place your order, as they are really good about answering the phone.
This restaurant offers great value for the price, especially if you're looking to save money on a couple of burgers. The home-style burgers are a steal and it's hard to find a better deal elsewhere. I heard that they started as a small, hole-in-the-wall burger joint in an alley, and it's interesting that they've maintained that tradition. If it's not broken, why change it, I guess?
The menu is limited, but the service and burgers were fantastic at this restaurant.
A burger joint that has been around for 100 years is not something you come across every day. I really enjoyed the mini burgers - the patties were perfectly seasoned, with crispy edges and firm buns. You must try it when you visit Brownsville.
I ordered a double cheeseburger and a single one, which were reasonably priced at less than $5 for both. However, they were quite small, with thin meat and lacking in flavor. My daughter was also disappointed. The restaurant only seemed to sell chips and drinks. It was okay, but I've had better. Please don't hate me! I might give them another try in the future, as they are quite popular despite my experience.
