Restaurant bewertenOur regular group of dinners decided to go to Au Vieux Duluth as they were having special pricing this week. We brought a couple of bottles of wine. Service was very nice. The meal started with nice hot bread rolls. There were several choses on the special menu. My wife and I as well as several others order the fillet of beef and shrimp . the beef was cooked as ordered and very tender and the shrimp were fresh cooked and also tender. Others order Breaded fish fillet, all came with soup and salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
A Vieux Duluth is a Vieux Duluth. Good service, ambiance was alright, delays for food on our table was standard. Now, no wow on the food, no wow of the decoration getting old and starting to need love, price average, no wow on nothing; it just do the job. Since I am not a big fan of that kind of place, the rest of our group was satisfied so there's the reason why I voted 4. Personnaly, a 3 would be more honest.
Clean friendly parking Good portions bring your own wine good for gathering like birthdays family gathering the bathroom very very clean and the kitchen too you can see the cook cooking in the restaurant do not need reservation on week days but Friday Saturday and Sunday if you want to eat early ok but a little later better to have reservation love the place
Can't beat the price at this restaurant with the added bonus of being able to bring your own wine. I love the chicken brochette and used to get it everytime I went, but lately I have been leaning towards the chicken grilloir. It is great with it special sauce and bacon. A more fattening choice then the brochette, but sometimes we should spoil ourselves. Great service too from all of their staff!
Let's play the how much food can we stuff on 1 plate game. Had the Filet Mignon with shrimp, comes with a starter salad, but you don't get it at the start though lolIt's stuffed onto your plate with the meat
