New York Style Pizza - Broomfield

Our family recently dined at Original Pizza in Broomfield, CO, and we had an incredible experience. I truly enjoy supporting family-owned restaurants, and this one definitely meets that standard. Everyone loved their meals, which included New York-style pizza, lasagna, and spaghetti with meatballs. They offer Pepsi products and have a great selection of beers. The restaurant is quite spacious, making it suitable for large families and dinner parties. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which enhanced our dining experience even more. I highly recommend this restaurant, and we will certainly be returning!

This is the best pizza in Broomfield, if not the entire state. Having spent ten years in New York, I can confidently say this is the real deal. The pizza is incredibly delicious—just fold it, take a bite, and you'll fall in love. I can't believe I lived just five minutes away for two years without visiting. Now, it’s a must-stop every time I'm in the area. My significant other also loved the cannoli. A big thank you to the fantastic pizza maestro Rick and the wonderful staff!

That said, I’ll assess it on a New York pizza scale, and unfortunately, I’d say it’s merely average in that regard (just my opinion). I prefer my pizza a bit crispier, with more char and significantly less flop. Oh, and a little less grease would be nice, but that seems to come from the whole milk cheese they use. If they experimented with half skim and half whole milk, it might help with the grease factor. Still, it was a solid slice, and it's my favorite pizza spot in the area. To get it to my liking, I usually have to ask for it well-done and request less cheese to achieve the crispiness I enjoy while reducing the grease. Overall, I’d rate it between 6.8 and 7.0 out of 10, but since Google simplifies ratings, I’m giving it four stars. It’s a great place with excellent ownership and pretty decent pizza. This restaurant truly deserves your business when you’re craving pizza.

I live in Texas, and I genuinely crave this restaurant. I can't even choose a single favorite dish because everything I've tried has always touched my heart. It's definitely the number one place I have to visit as soon as I’m back in town to see family. I can't express enough how much I adore the food, the atmosphere, and the warm, homestyle hospitality. Do yourself a favor and give them a try—you won't regret it!

One of the best New York-style pizzas I've had in Colorado! The flavor was fantastic. We ordered a cheese pizza along with some garlic sticks, and both were excellent.
