When we arrived, the kitchen had already closed. So, we could only have cheese and wine. The place is beautiful, offering a view of the Manhattan skyline that is definitely worth it. There is a small boat that you can take out from the restaurant. It's Joe's, located by the Brooklyn Bridge.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at The River Cafe and enjoyed an incredibly exquisite dining experience that is hard to put into words! The service was outstanding, and every part of our meal— from the warm bread to the appetizers and main courses—was delectable. The rack of lamb was phenomenal; we might never roast another turkey again! I didn't take many photos of the meal since the restaurant prefers that guests limit their photography. However, I did capture an image of one of the desserts, a chocolate rendition of the Brooklyn Bridge, which was as delicious as it was beautiful.

Came here for the Thanksgiving dinner, everything was superb!!! Recommend to book late afternoon for the sunset view during winter time. Food wise, don’t miss the wagu beef tartar, it was very fresh and flavorful. Had an unforgettable time :

The food was also remarkable. I enjoyed the tartare, beef, and a lemon dessert, all of which were excellent. There was a lovely interval between each course, allowing us to savor everything. The tartare was beautifully presented, and the staff expertly mixed the ingredients right in front of us, adding to the overall experience. Additionally, we were treated to several complimentary dishes, which were a delightful surprise. All in all, the experience was incredible. At $525 for two people, it is a significant expense, but you’re paying for the breathtaking view, outstanding service, and expertly crafted dishes. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning!
