Mekelburg's - Brooklyn

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. Every dish was amazing and made me exclaim, "Wow, that's really good!" The burger, porchetta, roast beef, and Mac and cheese with porchetta were all delicious. The only disappointment was the pork belly or caviar on top of the potato dish. It was more visually appealing than tasty. A plain white potato is bland, so perhaps replacing it with a sweet potato or a whole empanada would make it much more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic meal and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Consistently one of the best lunch spots in Brooklyn, plus an upscale delicatessen bodega, and a late night bar. Luch specials (e.g. half sandwich soup) have always been a great way to get reasonable prices, and over the past months Mek?s has added evenmore daily specials to the menu that bring out a relaxed crowd at various times (see pics for specials)
