Restaurant bewertenIt was an amazing discovery while our stay in Brooklyn. We had never had georgian food before and the waiter explain to us the menu and help us try the most iconic dishes. They also have a great selection of Georgian wine and they were delicious! It's a must try ? they also have cute terrace! We'll be back next time we visit Brooklyn!
My wife and I are big fans of authentic Georgian food and this is one of those place.First time we had lunch at Ubani on Manhattan (it was great) and I was heading home from Brooklyn and couldn’t stop myself from ordering food at this place. The place itself is super nice and clean, stuff is professional and friendly. The most important part food.I ordered different dishes, so: khinkali with beef and pork. The dough is perfect and the meat inside with a lot of juices and proper seasonings and herbs as it should be! Love it! khachapuri migruli. Delicious! Cheese is salty enough but not too much, the top layer of dough is paper thin and slightly crispy. Perfect texture. Just melting in the mouth. Sorry for the picture of it like that.., as soon as I opened the box I couldn’t stop myself ? delicious! chicken and pork skewers. Grate marinade. I think this should be eaten right away as it’s made. But even after reheating the meat was really good! salad with walnuts… oh boy, if you haven’t tried that yet than go for it. No regrets whatsoever. napoleon desert. Great quality (and the size of it) desert. Made by people who know what they’re doing for sure. So, I’m happy we have these 2 restaurants in the city and definitely will come back!
We (my son, my husband, and I) just had a lovely dinner here for my husband’s birthday: walnut salad, eggplant rolls, khachapuri, khinkali, lamb ozhakhuri and mushroom ozhahuri. We love Georgian cuisine and this place has excellent food. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The ambiance is lovely too. I recommend eating there rather than taking the food out. They serve family style which is typicalFor Georgian. So all portions are huge. We took a lot home. Our son loved the walnut salad. They have good Georgian wines too and let us taste a few before we chose our bottle.
What a gem, definitely coming back as the menu has so many good options. The restaurant is beautiful, but the terrace in the back was magical. It was cool because of the shade of surrounding buildings. Service was exceptional. They wanted me to pick my favorite Georgian wine, so they offered small samples before picking one. The food was really good too, adding a picture of my favorite Georgian dish before it was mixed in. Need to try this one, SO good
Very tasty food. Love their henkali very home-made taste. Adjuruli hachapuri tastes good. Kids loved their compot(homemade snaple). Only small complain that food comes different time for every one. It is better when all main dishes come at the same time for everyone(it was only 4 of us).Food: 5/5
