Restaurant bewertenThis is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to, and it is family-owned. I have seen some people complain about the prices of the food, which is ridiculous. The prices are very reasonable - if you can't afford $10, then I suggest cooking your own food. The food is amazing and the customer service makes you feel at home. It may take a little longer since it is run by just two women, but that shows their dedication. It was not crowded when I stopped by, so I was able to enjoy a meal with my family and will never regret it.
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious and I appreciate the substitute. I always enjoy ordering my breakfast from here because the food is always excellent.
The beef Pastelito De Carne was absolutely delicious, but I was pleasantly surprised with the pork filling I received instead. The Chicharron De Pollo Lunch was also very tasty, but I wish I had the garlic sauce to go with it. Despite the long wait for the delivery, the food arrived warm and I was grateful for that. Overall, a very delicious meal.
The mofongo was amazing, but the rice and beans were lacking in flavor.
Although this restaurant has good food, there are three things that make me not want to return: 1. The price for a small order of tres golpes is $7, which seems to vary depending on who you are. Additionally, my order only included one piece of salami when the cook had obviously prepared two. For $7, I received a small portion of plantains, 1 salami, 1 egg, and 1 piece of cheese. 2. The patrons tend to not move out of the way. 3. The service is slow.
