Restaurant bewertenI had a great experience at this Nandos - it was the cleanest one I've visited! The food arrived promptly, and the staff were extremely helpful. Although there was a mix-up with my order, they quickly corrected it.
I understand that half term is a busy time, and that staff are often overwhelmed. I work in a similar role and know that providing good customer service during busy periods can be challenging. However, I was disappointed with my experience today. My order was incorrect and my food was cold. While I understand that mistakes happen, what bothered me was the response I received from a staff member. When I brought this up to what I assume was a manager, he blamed me for waiting too long to eat the food - even though I was waiting for my order to be corrected. I left feeling frustrated and like I was inconveniencing them by being a customer. The lack of apology and unapologetic attitude from the staff member was unacceptable in my opinion. I believe that even during busy times, it is possible to provide good customer service.
After England's victory in the quarter final match against Sweden, we opted to order some take-out from Nando's. Instead of going to the Nugent Shopping Park location, we went to the Orpington branch. The food was prepared upon our arrival and we had a pleasant meal once we got back home. The only downside was that the drink was absent from my child's Nandino meal.
It's great, tasty food that we were served hot and quickly (as it should) Welcoming staff. Can't complain.
That's just the second time we were, but we had a really great time, and we were a friend birthday and they were more than happy for us to have a cake after we had eaten.
