Restaurant bewertenThe staff is delightful but for $20 I expect a sandwich (Joe Vigs that has meat throughout the bread. Fully 1/3 of the sandwich was just shredded lettuce and sauce. Management: with an average rating of only 4, you know you need to do something different. Maybe it’s as simple as giving your customers more fillings. UPDATE 2/20/24: the team at Via Porta reached out to rectify my experience and it sounds like they’ve started beefing up their sandwiches. Pun intended : 2 stars changed to 5 for the awesome effort. UPDATE 3/5/24: I just had another Joe Viggs thanks to the gift certificate they provided and it was truly excellent. Great value for the price, super high quality. Clearly the Via Porta team have made an effort to up their game. Nice work, and thank you again for making my experience right!
Great olive oil cake. Excellent hot chocolate. Nice coffee
Via Porta is our go to anytime we need a delicious but quick breakfast/lunch. My go to is always the avocado toast, which is truly the best I’ve ever had. The bread has a crunch without being impossible to cut through and still soft inside. They top it with arugula, sliced garlic, pickled onions, roasted red peppers and a few chile peppers. To die for. My husband always gets a different sandwich and has loved all of them, the chicken saltimbocca being his favorite. We ended up grabbing their olive oil loaf and a cheddar chive biscuit last time we were there and wow. I wish I could have that olive oil loaf every day. It was absolutely delicious.
Great pumpkin and chocolate chip muffin and the espresso was excellent. The service here is great as well.
The fusa sandwich wasn't great relative to cost. But great ambience
