Restaurant bewertenMusic a little loud... but maybe I'm getting old... but amazing pizza! Or I got the pale pizza and I found it perfect, tall but not chewy and not wet in the center. We also took other dishes such as pasta and gnocchi. Everything of the highest quality
This might be the worst restaurant I’ve eaten at in NY. From the service to the food. Just horrible. We were forced to put our entire order in at once and of course it wasn't coursed correctly. It took 30 mins to get our drinks. Eggplant appetizer was mushy and grimy. The branzino was beyond fishy and not fresh, over oiled. I sent it back and the waiter didn’t ask me if I wanted anything else. Proper etiquette would be to ask if I wanted something else. However I would have declined because everything on the table was terrible. He just rolled his eyes and took my plate. The cacio pepe was inedible. The worst I have ever had. Truffles were old and not fresh, had no flavor. Spaghetti was under seasoned and blah. Wait staff was terrible. I’m not sure how this place has the reviews but has? Maybe we should have gotten the pizza? There are so many other great restaurants in the city. If you do not want pizza, don’t go here.
I frequent NYC and am always trying new Italian restaurants. This place is awful, the food is blander than a bowl of white rice. My go to is Cacio e pepe, which I’ve eaten 100s of times in dozens of cities in the US and abroad…this was the absolute worst ever, didn’t send it back cause I had already sent back the branzino. Zero flavor, and the truffles were non-existent. I’m well aware summer truffles traditionally have less flavor but these were the equivalent of eating a piece of printer paper. The branzino, another big go to was extremely fishy and overcooked. I’ve had friends say the pizzas are good so maybe that was missed, but based on what I experienced I’d question that they’re ‘good’.
Tasty appetizers unforgettable pizza! ? Staff is on point. ?️ Not the spot for quiet chats, but if you're craving delicious food, give it a try! Parking: NYC, there's no parking. Kid friendliness: They have a few large tables for families reserve in advance.
There were not many guests at noon, so it was quiet and open. The basil gennochi green sauce is particularly fragrant. The pizza that ranks among the best in the world is indeed unique. The bottom of the pizza has a unique pot smell, and the cheese is gooey and especially soft. The fish in the entry is not recommended, there is nothing memorable about it. Tiramisu is very authentic!
