Restaurant bewertenGreat place with the most beautiful people! We were on our way thru on holiday and held a hand-dipped ice cream. We are very happy. Clean and tidy, delicious ice cream, friendly owners, and my sun was served in a glass plate with a real spoon! I hope to be back someday.
Simply stopped to get ice cream and the place is small and cozy and very friendly. Your cotton candy ice cream is heavenly! My friend also loves his cookies. Would come back!
The State Street Sweets and Eats, formerly the ice cream of Kay, is a place with a cultural landscape that corresponds to the taste. The most remarkable, sweets, otherwise known as Jessica, the manager of the shop, gets to know all their customers and wins them fast or offers them to drive home when it rains – she takes her career seriously. Their trusted chefs, sweet and savory, perhaps the overqualified heaps in the city, must be over their poems on their way to serve you coffee. Stay a while. Welcome to the heart of Bristol, central to everything. You know her. The hardware store owner, down for lunch, or Carl's mechanic, all prepare for their generous portions. Church Go-ers, newspaper readers, artists, or the down and out, sweet women and hearty women, sweet men and hearty men, although there is a lot of chewing, and the conversation is as you would expect in a hometown like this, this restaurant will always be the center of our city. There is a common chord, something unpronounced, a reason beyond the food we come here. Each community needs an epicenter, often coffee shops, always small historical places like this, a place that feels like at home.
Excellent ice cream. Large selection of flavors. I recommend the cookies a cream taste. Not so safe on the other food. I usually go to dessert. The place doesn't look bad. People are always friendly.
If you want a fancy place you will want to go somewhere else. However, if you are looking for a great sundae at a reasonable price this is the place. We got the biggest banana splits that were delicious and just overflowed with toppings. So far this is our favorite place to get ice cream sundaes in Bristol.
