Restaurant bewertenRestaurant is clean, staff is attentive. Depends on the time of day you visit may be packed may be empty. Either way the food is worth the wait. Give it a try.
I love going to authentic Mexican Restaurants, run by Mexicans, and getting the Carne Asada. I've done this in many states including, but not limited to, FL, TX, TN, CA. This restaurant has one of the most flavorful examples of Carne Asada I've had yet. Also, great and attentive service, and a superior in-house-made salsa and guacamole. Additionally, my wife had another steak dish that included mixed vegetables, which is unusual to see in Mexican Restaurants, but is a nice option for people who like traditionally American vegetables in their food.
La Carreta was king for a long time. That 's over now. They 've lost their zeal to provide great food. They charge $4 for a small 1/2 cup of 'warm ' cheese dip and the food is always 'so-so ' warm-ish and the portions are getting terribly small.
Service is the only good thing about this place.. will not be back.. poor waitress I feel bad she has to serve that non seasoned food.. absolutely no seasoning.. refried beans were grayish and smelt like catfood not exaggerating...
The food was eh okay, service was alright. The waiter had no idea if we had been waited on but gladly took us. The atmosphere was a little rushed I feel like. But overall it was alright
