Sparrow & Finch - Brisbane

Facing Ann St and adjoining a small lane and Creek St, this place was a real find! An uncommon combination of space, openness, a welcoming and modern vibe, significant bar area, reasonable prices and indoor/outdoor seating options. We selected lunch from an impressive cabinet display and enjoyed our meals with very good coffee. Highly recommended.

Came to this place by chance. We were looking for a bar for a drink before dinner. Nice and quiet , friendly staff and good snacks to have with your pre dinner drinks.

I am trying a new brekky spot each day and always passed this cafe and thought that looks nice. It’s big and has a nice open atmosphere with trees. The brekky is a reasonable price and the service friendly. However the bacon and eggs were a little uninspired. There are also news papers which I like. Will try again soon, maybe for a lunch.

It’s often a good sign when there’s a queue at a food outlet and there is always one here... albeit a fast moving one. I walk well out of my way, past countless other offerings to chose a wrap, a sandwich or a daily special from this lunch time institution. Fresh, plentiful and healthy.

Have had this cafe bookmarked for so long now finally managed to visit the other day for coffee. Couldn't believe how busy it was as we searched for a table. The lunch queue was very long with regulars going for the freshly prepared rolls sandwiches. They did indeed look fresh they were certainly piled high with fillings of choice. Our coffee's were prepared very quickly I was skeptical with regards to the resulting brew, however all was well, our Allpress coffee tasted amazing, even came with a sample brownie
