Loft West End - Brisbane

21st Birthday in July This venue is fantastic! It is presented well, with lots of style and character. Booking the venue and liaising with the sales manager for external deliveries for the event, was seamless. The platters ordered from the venue, also went down well with our guests. Two issues we couldn 't ignore, took place on the night inadequate service by the staff and the balcony heaters not working in winter. The bar staff and co 'ordinator did not seem like they wanted to be there. They weren 't very helpful or hospitable and it was noticed. In addition, we were told twice prior, that the balcony heaters were working and would operate on the night, only to be told 'on the night ' that they hadn 't worked for a few months. An elderly family member fell sick following the event because the music was too loud inside. Thankfully, they have since recovered but this was not acceptable and it was raised with the sales manager. There appeared to be a lack of communication between the sales manager and co 'ordinator. Overall, the birthday boy enjoyed his night and had a great time and quite a few guests commented on a well organised event.

Great pub, or should I say bar. Some awesome beers on tap, and simply a great atmosphere to take in.

On the 24th March we celebrated our daughter’s 21st with a cocktail party in the library and deck at Loft West End. Sonia assisted us initially and provided all the information we needed. She always responded to calls and emails promptly and was easy to deal with. On the night Madeleine looked after us and she was very efficient and professional. We found all of the Loft staff to be very good. There was a great variety of drinks on tap and reasonably priced. For 80 people we ordered a cheese platter, 2 each of dips, pizza and seafood platters and 1 wonton. These were excellent, the cheese and seafood in particular were exceptional. One drawback was not to have microphone or screens however this was a small matter when the evening was looked at as a whole. The DJ was accomodating and we had lots of fun dancing to our favourite songs. This venue was awesome and we couldn’t have been happier. Thanks Loft West End.

The overall layout has greatly improved since we last visited your establishment. However, I’m sad to say one of your waitresses was clearly unamused to be working tonight. (Sultry face, blonde hair and no sense of humour. The food was actually terrible and I couldn’t eat too much of it. (Vegan burger My partner had the chicken parmigiana and said it was extra ordinary.

What a wonderful venue. Melbourne cup lunch with some of the tastiest and well presented food and yummiest cocktails. The staff went above and beyond. Looking forward to next year already.
