Restaurant bewertenFirst order per app in a restaurant. very helpful waiter. faster service. eat pretty clear, but good. had lemongras gyozu that were pleasant. tofu teriyaki bowl good pieces of creamy tofu. decent portions. good tipp beer. good value.
I really liked this place, but recently it has become extremely expensive and the portion sizes are much too small. they also play piercing cartoon music in the background that makes it difficult for some of my family that are hard to hear how... it is.
I hate to write such a bad review (like I was a big fan of the fortitude valley restaurant when it was opened first) but our meal in southbank today was rough! we ordered 2 loose squad dumplings and the black tasted and smelled...off it was so disgusting! the dumplings were at least edible, but were by no means good. Lack of taste and texture was ab (powder) the chicken carage was the only decent thing we ate, but it was small and expensive. to be even worse, they have no longer available! the only choice for beer was a $14 can imported beer or glass bright bee on hahn. everything in all, it was a bitterly disappointing culinary experience! no atmosphere, no food and very expensive for what it is. I will not go back!
Harajuku is kind of a habit every time I'm in Brisbane city so I've been to both the Southbank and City stores quite a bit. The service, atmosphere/decor and food quality is slowing starting to slip at the Southbank store. Could do with an internal...fitting refresh and more engaging staff. Not sure if its a Covid side effect or not but I probably would bother with the Southbank store again.
Amazingly good food, great service. Beer and wine available. Plenty of menu options available even for kids
