Restaurant bewertenYUCK!!! 1. Please change your water filter. Your water tastes stale 2. Don't put something on your signature list and make it tasteless. Aka Salt and pepper soft shell crab 3. Your fried rice needs a LOT of improvement. Service was quick. Efficient but not courteous.
We ate here last week and this place never disappoints after 4 and a half years since I first ate here! Their vegetarian spring rolls are delicious and are some of the best we've ever had! The fried dim sims are very gourmet style and tasty (everyone loves the standard dim sims but green teas are nice for a change) We also ordered the chicken Pad Thai and the Beef Ho Phan, these were both delicious and packed with a lot of meat! We couldn't quite finish it all but we left not feeling overfull and sick like some other similar restaurants. We will definitely go back here next time we are in Brisbane! I was going to rate this 4.5 but I can't fault anything with the food or service so it really was deserving of a 5 this time!
Experienced great service, food was quick and fresh. Especially loved the make your own 'fun rolls' and the Pho was great. Will definitely be back!
***WARNING***TERRIFYING AND SCARY EXPERIENCE!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you ever think about going to this restaurant, DON'T, do your self a favour and stay far, far away! THE MANAGER is dangerous, erratic and unpredictable! ****READ UNTIL END!**** If I could give 0 stars I would. Wow, where to begin. Firstly, we (a group of 4) arrived at Green Tea for lunch, we were promptly told that if we chose to sit, we must make our order within 15 minutes as the kitchen was about to close, understanding this we took our seats and proceeding to look over the menus. The wait staff stood there staring at us while we looked over the menus, feeling pressured we made our orders within 2 minutes of sitting down. All was well until our meals arrived, my Duck Salad arrived covered in nuts, as I have a severe allergy to nuts I advise the waiter that I cannot eat the meal, the waiter than rudely said that if I had an allergy than I should have told them before ordering, my... read more
Great food, but the experience was spoiled by the response of the management after I found 2 hairs in my food. I discreetly let the waitress know I'd found two hairs in my food - and my coworker had found one in his spring roll - to which she apologised. I said no worries, and thought that was the end of it. A male staff member then comes out (manager?) to speak with me, and brings the hairs with him! He then leans down next to me, and LAYS THE TWO HAIRS out on a serviette in front of me, and begins to talk about how these are clearly 'brown' hairs, and you know, Asian hairs are black. He then PULLS A HAIR OUT OF HIS HEAD and lays it down next to the brown ones. My whole team of coworkers were in disbelief. I remained calm, and repeated that I was simply wanting to let him know - I wasn't accusing the chef, I was just letting him know there were hairs in my food. He continues to go on about the hairs, saying they are 'curly' and clearly not asian hairs, to which my coworker says 'but I also found a hair in my spring roll - it was there when I bit into it.' The manager completely ignores this, and continues to discuss the 'colour' of the hairs (which were not the colour of my hair - which was also tied back) and says that his chef is bald etc etc. It was extremely awkward and an embarrassment to the restaurant. Essentially it felt as though he was calling me a liar, without using those words. At the end of the day, I simply wanted to let them know about the situation, and would have been happy with a 'sorry.' I wasn't after anything more than that.
