I personally ate at the fish house and the fish house makes... sells and sells out of their (best in the world tasting) home made on site Lobster Bisque... Yummy....yummy... This is not an paid submission... I just happen to be hungry and I ordered their home made food.... and trust me... I am a vendor at other shows and I can say with scientific certainty.. this fish house is the best.. FYI.. I tried the pulled pork from the next field over... and little light on the order... my experience as a seasoned traveling vendor makes me a person who knows good foods. Anthony Raffaele
Went to the Brimfield Mass Outdoor Flea Market Sept, stopped for a lobster roll and some fries at the FISH HOUSE food truck. I asked to hold the cole slaw not really a fan. The very nice woman that was taking my ordered begged me to try the HOMEMADE slaw, I asked if it was vinegary, she promised me I would love it. I reluctantly took it, and it was absolutely delicious!!! They were so nice and the food was totally fresh. I wanted to go back and order another one the next day, it was so good. But after a busy morning and not so close to the FISH HOUSE truck and I decided to try the other food truck the LOBSTER ROLL not only was their price $2 more, they were not very friendly. It took almost 40 minutes and the lobster roll was chewy and not very well seasoned. They Lost my ticket and were not very nice about it. THANK YOU for your friendly customer service that goes a long way and is a rare trait in today's world!!! Can't wait for MAY!!! I'LL BE BACK!!!
A lucky find as we were taking the scenic route home from Boston to Albany on Route 20. We ordered the seafood combo dinner and everything was cooked fresh on the spot. Haddock, Shrimp, Fries and Onion Rings. All Crispy and Delicious! We added a Crabby Cake and it was perfect!
Worth a visit if you're around the area. The fish and chips are awesome. It's worth mentioning that the fish was fresh, thick, juicy and battered exceptionally then perfectly fried. Finding the place is a struggle because the address and navigational link on Yelp is wrong. Besides that, finding the place was a treat during a long drive.
We were looking for a lunch spot when driving from Boston to Vermont. We first spotted BTs Smokehouse and the Fish House tucked behind it. It's just a walk-up window on a trailer with a couple tables set up outside. (We did learn that they're moving into BT's spot when he moves, so they'll be easier to spot off the road. The menu is mostly fish and seafood plates with a hot dog and burger also available. We had the Fisherman's Platter, fish and chips, clam chowder, and clam fritters. The platter was enough for two to share. The breading was freshly made and everything is hand-breaded to order. The onion rings are cut to whatever size you want and were perfectly crisp and tasty. The scallops and shrimp were cooked beautifully, tender and not at all rubbery. The battered fish was also deep-fried goodness, with delicious fish and well-seasoned batter. The clam chowder was also yummy, but non-meat eaters take note, the soup starts with onions fried up in bacon fat (YUM . The clam fritters had a great fluffy texture and were both sweet and savory. If we ever pass through again, we'd definitely return. Absolutely delicious!
