Restaurant bewertenI often get coffee and cake, best mocha in town and Rachel's cakes are delish. All employees are so welcoming and Kate, the manager is a star.
We stopped in Bridport to eat something during the camping. Big pizzas and burgers, my very fussy son ate the whole thing crusts and all (which is very rare for him). Friendly staff and so much nicer to support a local business than the weather spoon simply on the street.
Dearest staff! There was a coffee and the staff was simply super charming and chatting. You also have milk alternatives for coffee:
Friendly staff, drink are really good, I have found some of the cakes to bit a bit dry or rich but that is probably my preferences, had sampled a variety of the drinks, both hot and cold and they are always of good standard. Often find this place to be a great meeting point for seeing friends. Calm and positive atmosphere.
It 's a nice enough venue in the daytime but during the evenings it can get pretty cramped in there being such a narrow pub. Staying open until late is a bonus but inside is distinctly underwhelming. The staff are chatty and nice, always willing to pass the time of day when they 're not busy and the food is decent but the place itself is just old and tired. It falls short of being quirky, instead hitting barely average. The small beer garden out back is a nice place to sit and chat with random people though.
