The Waterfront - Bridgend

I'm afraid of family dinners, even though I was beautiful together. some meal ends before others even had their! not cheap for me, no apologies for the quality of the meal. will not be back in a hurry I fear, star is generous!

On a busy Saturday night called and asked for food, foukd a table and was very quickly served steak and chips and chili and chips. very fill out and reasonable. the personal was also great.

Had from the specials board...beef and ale pie... homemade and absolutely delicious... packed to the brim with solid chunks of beef... amazing value for money... would never normally leave a review but I'll make an exception as it tastes so good... compliments to the pie man

Absolutely terrible. My family of 10 often goes on vacation to Porthcawl. This was our first time dining at this restaurant as other restaurants were too busy. We ordered a meal from the specials board that was advertised for 6 pounds, but when we placed our order, they insisted it was actually 9 pounds and immediately changed the price on the board. The staff refused to honor the original price and three employees made it clear that we had to pay the higher price or not have the meal at all. I couldn't help but wonder if saving 3 pounds was worth tarnishing their reputation and receiving negative word-of-mouth. We will never return to this establishment again.

Staff great, good choice of drinks lovely setting but food very overpriced don't mind if I'm getting a good meal but a big disappointment.
