Mary Brown's Chicken - Brantford

I'm recreating from a star. the management contacted me and corrected my bad experience with a substitute meal. I hope future experiences will be faster and more accurate.

By comparison with previous days, the food quality was bad. we ordered spicy chicken because they only spread paprika on normal chicken stable.

We were last there 22. July and ordered 2 sandwich combos on the drive thru. The girl at the window, Sneha was very nice and helpful. We appreciate their service for our great order. When my husband went to eat his big Mary sandwich, he noticed that a spot on the bun was a little fuzzy and green on which he brought my attention. I looked at it and agreed that it looked like mold, I checked my sandwich and it was good so I took his back inside and showed the staff behind the counter. She apologized for it and said they would make a new one. She went to the kitchen, I guess, showed the other staff and then returned. She tried to tell me it was a sign of the pimple sitting upstairs. I wasn't born yesterday. The pimple is moist and had left nothing of this texture and color. It almost seemed like she didn't believe me. I was very disappointed with the dismissal she was. Even if she didn't believe me, just apologize for a smile and correct the situation. In addition, I find this situation never gives the dipping sauces with the chicken poppins. We were left on many occasions without sauces. We often come to this place and have always interacted with helpful and friendly staff. I urge management to train staff to be more aware and polite in such special situations. It is a health and safety problem and should not be taken easily. I approached the employee friendlyly and asked politely. I expect the same in return to not be released for my concern. The food is always good here, our orders were consistent. I would continue to return in the event that management looks at this issue.

It is clean and the service is pretty good. I have gone to many Mary Browns across Canada. I have gone here before. The chicken was always nicely cooked until my most recent visit a few days ago. They could only take cash or you had to order online. I was disappointed with this order however. The chicken was not well cooked, the skin was showing and the batter was soggy in spots so much so that I had to put it in my air fryer to cook it more. Sort of defeats the purpose of not cooking at home after a long work day. The taters had no seasoning salt on them, and the sides are notably smaller. So I gave them a three. Hopefully I can update a better review in the future, until then I will go with Popeyes. Like if this was helpful. Follow for more reviews!

Absolutely love this place. Chicken is so tender and tasty. The taters and gravy are to die for. Salad was a little odd but nobody?s perfect. ; The wait was quite long today but the food was amazing so that?s a full 5 stars in my books. Staff was just going through the motions. Lol
