Full Cord Pizza - Brant Lake

This restaurant is making some excellent pizza pies! The pizza I tried yesterday was one of the best I've had in the greater Capital Region. They use locally sourced ingredients and pay great attention to detail for each pizza. The pies are 12 inches and very filling. Most people with a normal appetite could split a pie with a friend and still be satisfied, but if you have a big appetite, you'll want a whole pie to yourself. They use a wood-fired oven that they can transport with their truck, and they cook the pizzas at high temperatures. The crust gets a nice char on the outside but remains soft and chewy on the inside, just the way I like it. The pepperoni is hand-sliced thick and gets a crispy char on the edges from the hot fire. The sauce is balanced and the cheese is abundant. They have a great tang in the pepperoni and the overall pizza is delicious. They can cater and do private events, and they accept credit cards with a cell phone swiper. I'm excited to go back and try more of their pies. I think they're going to get very busy as more people hear about the quality of their pizzas.

The pizza at Full Cord is excellent and rivals some of the best pizzerias in the Greater Capital Region. Cooked in a portable wood oven, the pies are top-notch with a wonderfully chewy yet tender end crust and a crispy, charred bottom crust. The tomato sauce is delicious, made simply with canned tomatoes and salt, giving it a light, bright, and flavorful taste. Full Cord takes pride in sourcing ingredients from local farms, although they could scale back on the amount of cheese used. A traditional Margherita style pizza with just a few slices of mozzarella would be a great addition to their menu. Full Cord operates as a pizza truck, attending various festivals and venues. Don't hesitate to try their delicious pies and consider them for catering as well. I can't wait to have another (or two) of their pizzas in the future.
