The Castle Inn - Bramber

The good: The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the bed is really comfortable.The bad: Everything feels dated. No airco, the (tiny) rooms are quite warm, but equipped with a fan. My showers water pressure was very low, barely sufficient. A bigger problem was with the waters temperature, which rotated between scolding hot and very cold. The receptionist took notice but was unable to address this. I suspect it needs some overdue maintenance.All in all, fine for an overnight stay!

What a shame! Came in on a sunny evening for a quiet drink after walking the dog. He's nervous around kids, so as we were leaving, seeing a mother and little girl on the ramp (signed for the exit) and not wanting to scare her if he barked, we choose to go through the (open) door to the (empty) dining room which opens into the bar and exit. To my amazement, were literally pursued all the way from the terrace through the building and then harassed by an inexplicably worked up woman, presumably the owner telling us we weren't to walk through there! Did we see the sign? Next time RESPECT THE SIGN So unnecessary! As if there's going to be a next time you utter clown. I hope you don't speak to all your guests like this!

3rd time coming to hotel. And never disappointed. Room is clean comfy and the breakfast was great. Had everything we needed. Very close to the festival event we attended every year.

I had no choice it was a work booking you need money,its mainly for the old or well off people,

Just had lunch at this lovely place and the food was amazing. I couldn't believe it wasn't busy.
