Restaurant bewertenDonna is so hateful to all the customers! First of all, I ordered a malt and asked if I could have it after my meal because I was taking it back to someone my friend asked for one of the meals she ordered to be a to go meal because she was taking it to someone also. Anyway, you would have thought we did something terribly wrong by the way Donna was treating us. She kept glaring and rolling her eyes at us and huffing and slamming down her notepad. Then they cooked our meals but didn’t serve them, nor our drinks until the to go orders were ready, which defeated the purpose of making them to go in the first place. It was like she was trying to punish us for our requests. So our meals were cold and the malt that I specifically asked to get after my meal was melted before we left. I normally don’t write reviews or complain but Donna’s behavior was so appalling that I felt it was necessary and worth my time to post. Needless to say, I won’t go back.
The food is highly greasy fake ice cream horribly rude owner named Donna don't waste your money if you want good food go to soda steves or burger barn
We stopped here on a whim while passing by. My mom owned a hamburger place when I was growing up. This was a flash back to my childhood. The hamburger was wonderful. The grilled meat, crisp lettuce and wonderful tomato in a symphony of taste. We also had a chocolate malt that was delitfull! We'll stop again.
The Malt Shop is a charming, small restaurant with friendly staff and delicious shakes and malts. We were at Camp Gruber and made a quick stop for a shake before getting back to work, which was much better than going all the way into Muskogee.
We were in need of some food in a small town when we visited Green Leaf Lake. My husband grew up here and knew some people so we decided to stop by. The food was quite delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the chicken steak, fries, and salad. Since my husband knows the owner's family, they seemed to remember him. We definitely plan on returning someday.
