Restaurant bewertenWhat a wonderful hidden jewel! Lana (Mother) and Anthony (son) are the amazing owners, full of charm and dedication to make your culinary experience the best. The delicious food is made to order. The dishes are beautifully presented. The food on the picturesque veranda was divine. The desserts were superior. This will be our new favorite restaurant. I love her reservation procedure! Much more personal than Open Table or Resy. The atmosphere is elegant and elegant. Mary Katherine was our charming waitress. We wanted to eat here with friends on Saturday. You should also have a Frank Sinatra singer. Can't wait to go back!
Lana and her team took care of our wedding in Asbury Park on 5/21/22. We signed a contract with Lana 2 weeks before our wedding date and gave the brief announcement for our wedding to them exactly what was asked and more! They ensured that our guests were well fed and cared for. Our guests are still talking about food. Lana and her staff made our wedding so special with exceptional service. We can't recommend them enough. I am happy to dine in Mangiare Tu and experience one of their meals again! Thank you to the Mangiare Tu Team!
A bit of an Italian restaurant experience of Manhattan!!! The ambience and charm of this restaurant is surpassed by the presence of the owner/cook!!! We enjoyed Lana all about our evening. The very best Auberginenparmesan ever!!! We will definitely be back and bring friends. Thank you, we felt like eating in your house!!!!
Whenever I'm in Jersey and going to a place that's gone from home, I'm going to Mangiare Tu. It is obvious that this restaurant is Lana (the owner of pride and joy. This time we brought our own wine and beer. Lana went out her way to put everything on ice to make sure that it remained chilled during the night. I was with the family who have never been there so lana took the time to explain the whole menu and answered all the questions they had. Of course I got the fritto misto for an app I should die for. The shrimps and Calamari were slightly baked and fried and there was so much food! Two of us got the prawn di nero for our escape and oh. It was so good! Everything was so fresh, tasteful and beautifully plated. Another member of our party was happy enough to try lanas famous Sunday engraving, it was excellent! Besides, it was such a big part that she could bring home the next day. I must say the dish that won the night in my opinion was the pig steak and I didn't even eat it! It was so colorful and beautifully plated I couldn't help but think it should be in a food magazine. And let me tell you that it was cooked to perfection (after my uncle talk about falling bones. If you've made it so far in my review, I'm sure it's safe to say that I love this place and will always be time to stop when I'm in Jersey. What a hidden gem! Food was so delicious and the portions were just perfect. We found this spot accidentally. The hostess was kind enough to find us a table even though we didn't have a reservation. It's intimate, it's authentic and everything you want from an Italian restaurant. We literally enjoyed every bite. They're B.Y.O.B. for those of us who enjoy some wine with dinner. If you haven't been here definitely go!
