The Old Station Restaurant

Was a cold & windy evening. Hostess sat us at a table right beside the open door. It was impossible to enjoy any meal at this table. We were finally able to get a table near back of restaurant. Watched as the hostess tried to sit 2 more couples at this table only to see them leave the restaurant without ordering any food. Ordered the french onion soup and side salad. The topping on the soup soaked up all of the liquid leaving only a few tablespoons of soup. The side salad was soaked in a bottled dressing. Another family member ordered the trout which smelled fishy suggesting that it was not fresh. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Downtown Bracebridge with a small patio. Great atmosphere. Good food. Always busy and you don't have to wait long to get a table. In the winter a warm place to eat with a cozy fireplace.

Went for a family visit in Muskoka. Waited for a table inside but not a problem. Both my husband and I did not enjoy our meals. My husband had the fish and chips, I had the rainbow trout. Both were over done. We waited a long time for our meals. Staff was pleasant.

Great bar meal with my extended family. I'm not local but my relatives are. Staff were really friendly and the food and wine was as enjoyable as the ambience they created for a group get together. I'd go back for another meal or group evening.

Was great ???? Food and service . Portions were good . Everyone was satisfied and pleased. They all said they would go back next visit.
