Fionn Maccool's - Bowmanville

Terrific staff, fantastic service and food is great! I had the Butter Chicken Boxti, and it was delicious! I’m always treated like a friend here, and you never leave hungry!

Let me start off by saying don’t listen to the negative reviews this restaurant is brand new and I think a lot of people are just out to complain based on one specific review that claims they were discriminated against, but if you’ve seen the whole story you would understand not all is as it seems. Give them a try yourself and keep an open mind. ANYWAYS! Tonight was my first experience there, we went to celebrate my fiancé’s 35th birthday. We had the buffalo cauliflower to start as we had a free appetizer coupon. The app was okay, we were expecting it to be crispy, but it was soft. Flavour was great though! Entrees my 11 year old stepdaughter has chicken strips and waffles and let me tell you... it was amazing! All three of us really, really loved it. My fiancé had the club sandwich and I had the southern fish fry. The sandwich was huge, lots of meat, and great flavour. My fish was great! Everything was well worth the price. Our server, Isabelle, didn’t ask what we were celebrating, even though I had made my reservation on OpenTable and specified it was my fiancé’s birthday. I wasn’t expecting a birthday song or anything (lame), but I do think it’s important for servers to ask about these things and treat him as a special guest. My fiancé didn’t want dessert, so I didn’t bother pointing out his birthday to her. Service was quick though, and while she wasn’t chatty with us, she did her job and was on top of everything. Thank you for a great evening out! We will be back!

I have been to Fionn on 2 difference occasions and have had a great experience the food was good and the service amazing. Our server was Avery and she was very friendly and professional i would recommend Fionns to anyone.

We have eaten here twice now and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It was difficult to choose because there are so many tasty meals on the menu. Great selection of beers and excellent service. Cheers!

I’m not sure how I’ve lived without Fionn’s before, but I’m so glad to have discovered it now! Our server, Isabella, was quick, friendly, and courteous, with a wonderful personality. I ordered the Chicken Fingers and Waffles, and wow, they were incredibly tender and delicious! It’s definitely a combination I never expected to enjoy, but I’m so glad I gave it a try. We didn’t have to wait at all, but I noticed a line forming as we ate; it’s definitely a place worth the wait!
