Drove to O'Connell Street of Bowen Hills and tried to explore the Project 41 Café. Unfortunately, the carpark was full and I had to find the off street parking. Eventually, I managed to get a parking spot but there must be clearway from 7 to 9 am. It was 6:45am, therefore I pushed my luck to go just across the road of this eye-catching café. Service was very friendly and I ordered my flat white and just a croissant with ham cheese. By the time I asked the staff if I could parked the car across the road. I saw a car drove very quickly in order to approach my car and I discovered that it was an officer from the City Council who tried to book me a ticket. So I rushed to go across the road and moved my car before she took any action. Fortunately, I saved to pay for a very dear brekkie but I had no mood to enjoy my food any more. Sorry to the two friendly staff who prepared the coffee and croissant for me. Having said that , the Flat white of Fonzie Abbott brew that I had was excellent.
Herston the area surrounding RBWH is basically a food wasteland, so Flick N Beans is a nice little spot for some good quality food. I go to this place at least once a week and always leave satisfied. <br <br Menu is small but they have a good range (not too many vegetarian or vegan options though . Tried a few items here and loved everything. Portions are good for the price and everything is fresh and delicious. My favourite is the 'Moroccan Spicy Chicken '. Not very spicy, but it consists of a generous serving of nicely seasoned grilled chicken breast, grilled haloumi, sliced avocado, arugula, large slice of toasted sourdough and a wedge of lemon. Filling, healthy and very tasty!<br <br Coffee here is average (I 've had better . They also have a nice variety of sandwiches and rolls, pastries, muffins and brownies in the display cabinet next to the counter. <br <br All the staff here are very friendly so that 's a plus!<br <br A couple of minor things: they should play more upbeat music! And it would be awesome if they could stay open a bit later than 3pm (there a no good cafes in the area so a place that stays open past 3 would be very welcome . <br <br Overall, a cute coffee shop with good eats! 4.5 5 :
If your looking for great coffee near Brisbane hospital then this is the place. Their brunch menu isn't too bad either the salmon stack came with two poached eggs, which weren't as runny as I like, and heaps of avocado. Great way to start the day
I was introduced to this place by one of my coworkers and I have to agree that it serves the best coffee in the RBWH area. The breakfast wrap is also delicious and reasonably priced. Although the coffee may be a bit more expensive compared to other local options, the quality makes it worth it.
