Venezia Restaurant - Boston

Very Nice place with amazing views makes for a summer dinner. We ordered stuffed sole as one of the main dishes which was meh taste wise. As it is stuffed with crustaceans (minced crab and shrimp) we did encounter some of the shells inside the stuffing as well as inedible asparagus, we finished eating it though and brought that to server 's attention as 'hey something is wrong with the food so take note ' we weren 't trying to make a scene or get a free meal or even replace it since it was eaten already. The server comes back telling us that the chef told him that it is a tomato peal not a shell and completely disregarding the asparagus note. It was insulting as if we don 't know a tomato from a crab shell (smh) as well as it was very disrespectful to ignore the rest of my point. I wanted an acknowledgement and accountability for the mistake that was made but met with some fragile ego of a chef. Rest of the food was ok but nothing special. I won 't be coming here again.

I have been going to Venezia my whole life. Last night was very overpriced and the food was subpar. Not even close to what it used to be.

One meal was served Luke warm, not hot. Waiter kept reaching across the table.

Very nice food and very nice view. The waitstaff were above the norm.

Food is very good. Menu is much smaller than it used to be.
