Restaurant bewertenI treat myself to a breakfast sandwich, cortado, and single-origin espresso almost every Saturday, and it's often the highlight of my week. Extremely high quality and consistency. Among the best coffee I've had, and easily the best egg sandwich in the GBA.
Great place to host coffee chats and/or work. Tight space so I would recommend groups of max 3 people. Menu has great options and I would recommend trying the breakfast sandwich, really savory! The prices here are also reasonable, isn’t super high end like you would expect from other trendy cafes. What’s cool is that vibe is trendy, so you almost get best of both worlds. Staff is super nice and orders come out quick, you can come here for 5-10 mins on the way to work or for 1-2 hours to get some work done. Will come again!
Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a latte. They do not have specialty lattes which is a little disappointing. The one they did have was the NOLA latte, with brown sugar (the coffee beans are Chicory, if I remember correctly). I got that one, and it was quite good. Pleasantly strong yet sweet. Great combination! Service was quick, you order at the counter. Plenty of seats but no private chairs/tables. They do have the space, a few small chairs and tables would be a welcome addition. The only reason I'm docking a star is because their menu is quite limited. I love a simple and satisfying cafe meal I'm thinking a slice of quiche or paninis or wraps. I wish they would add something along these lines to their menu. It's nice to have a bite with your coffee! Pro tip: Free street parking just outside the cafe.
Kohi Coffee at Boston Landing is one of the best coffee shops in Boston. Tandem Coffee Roasters from Portland, ME supply most of the coffee used in the store, but recently Kohi has incorporated Little Wolf Coffee from Ipswich, MA into their repertoire. Both roasters are known for being New England's finest as determined and reviewed by Food Wine magazine. Both roaster's beans are available for purchase in-store. The price of the beans reflects their quality, attention to detail, and amazing flavor. Cappucinos and lattes are crafted well, but Kohi's strength comes from their exquisite pour-overs of the Tandem and Little Wolf varieties. The selection of seating is moderate to small, but suits the clientele as most customers take their coffee to-go. Flavorful pastries are available, as are small plates like egg tartlets, chicken tarragon sandwich, vegan sandwich, and seasonal fruit bowl. Parking is available on Guest Street, but free parking is also available in a lot at the intersection of Guest Street and Arthur Street.
Tandem Roasters coffee, premium pricing but the service is very good. If they'd start giving out an espresso with each bag of whole bean coffee, I could see myself making the trip out regularly. Boston Landing is still sort of new and empty, but not such a bad setting to putz around enjoying your coffee. Keep up the good work, Kohi!
