We purchased steamers, lobster and cooked shrimp for our New Year's Eve party. Each item was absolutely top notch. While it's been years since we were last there, we'll be back!!

The lobsters are sweet and tender. What I like that separates from the other lobster places is that the lobsters come with seaweed. In my opinion, seaweed gives more of the ocean flavor.

I recently visited James Hook Co. and tried their clam chowder, which was a delightful experience. The chowder was rich and flavorful, filled with tender clams and perfectly seasoned. It truly stood out as a highlight of their menu. The atmosphere at James Hook Co. added to the overall experience. The setting was cozy and welcoming, making it a comfortable place to dine. The interior had a charming nautical theme that resonated well with the seafood offerings. One downside, however, was the lack of parking. This made accessing the restaurant a bit challenging, especially for those who are new to the area. Despite this minor inconvenience, the quality of the food and the pleasant ambiance made it worth the effort. Overall, James Hook Co. is a must-visit for seafood lovers. Their clam chowder is a must-try, and the cozy atmosphere makes for an enjoyable dining experience. Just be prepared to find alternative parking options when you visit.

Landed at Logan and first stop had to be James Hook Co and wowww it did not disappoint! Such a cute place which is more of a seafood deli counter and shop.. a few tables inside and a large heated area with tables outside. The large lobster roll with butter was absolutely legendary.. by far the best I’ve ever had. The meat was so fresh, sweet and plentiful.. I also had the chowda which was delicious and really hit the spot on a cold day. The crab cake was very tasty and a good value. This was my first time in Boston and I’m so happy I went straight from the airport to James Hook.. if you are a seafood lover this place is an absolute must visit!!
