Restaurant bewertenIf you’re in the area this is a definite food stop. The owners don’t just serve the regular burgers and fry’s. They do smoked tri tip, pulled pork, carne asada burritos and more. We found the food excellent and the staff upbeat and very friendly. Expect a bit of a wait on a big holiday but just relax, it’s worth the wait.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a cafe during a camping trip to Ocotillo Wells, and it quickly became a highlight of our off-road adventures. The homey and delicious food made every visit a treat. What made it even better was the friendly atmosphere, especially seeing fellow off-roaders riding their side by sides to this unique spot. It truly adds to the charm of this off-the-beaten-path cafe. Can't wait to come back and enjoy both the food and the off-road community!
It's a Dive eatery. Love it!There Tri-Tip is yummy! ?
This desert campground is really a great place to stay. It is well-kept and tidy we were greeted warmly at the entrance. The sites are well marked and large. There are full hook ups, and there is even a rinse off station for dirt bikes, and ATVs. The pool is large with a hot tub. There is a community room with ping-pong, foosball, and other activities. We stayed here on Easter weekend with our son and family, but Campground hosted an Easter extravaganza with an egg hunt for kids of all ages, and Easter bunny, bags for the children to collect eggs, plenty of eggs and candy for everyone, and the Easter bunny made an appearance. This Campground has direct access to writing in the desert. It has a tall fence around it and the Wi-Fi is great as there is a tower near the property. We will definitely come back and recommend this to all our camping friends.
Great place to stay!! Park is well maintained and the staff is great. Had a hot water issue with my motorhome the first night, and a staff member gave us a few tokens to shower. Renovated pool area looks great, unfortunately we did not get a chance to use it. Great access to riding areas. We were there during the week and the Blu in Cafe/Store was closed, but when I called the owner was onsite and opened up the store for my boys.
