Restaurant bewertenWent with Valentine's day menu. First course was a seafood platter for two. Very nice. Cooked perfectly. Main course was Surf and Turf. The steak was perfect. Beautiful presentation. Desert was a perfect completion to the meal. Not too big, but enough to share. Timing of each course was great. Service was excellent.
My husband and I went on a Tuesday night at 6pm to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. We had a lovely waitress who explained the specials which we ended up getting: antipasto platter that was soo delicious, he got the ribs for main which he said were really good and I got the Moroccan lamb skewers that came with a sweet potato quinoa type salad. The lamb cubes were so tender and tasty! My husband got the creme brûlée which was really nice (I had a spoonful! . Also I had a glass of NZ Sav Durvillea it was really really nice and well chilled . We couldn’t fault the evening everything was lovely. Maybe a little pricey but it was worth it to celebrate.
This was our first time at Vibrante. My husband and I shared the mixed platter for two and had creme brule for desert. The salmon and steak were very tasty and cooked well, the chicken meatballs were a little bland. We enjoyed the creme Brule but could have easily shared one between two as they were a large serve. Our children had the kids meals with pizza which was yummy and also a generous service. The waitress was great, attentive, friendly and very personable. Overall we had a good time and would definitely come back again.
Food was good but expensive, took over and hour and a half between starters and mains.
Waiting staff very friendly. At the end of the night felt like we were getting kicked out. Didn't like the way one of the managers was treating the staff. Our group sensed an uneasiness and unrest between him and the waiting staff. Found him quite stern and accusing when discussing the claim of the free bottle of wine as offered for the weekend special offer. Management needed to smile! ! Food yummy though!
