I am lucky enough to have been a customer since the mid 80's as a child. As an adult Lemongrass Chicken is destination shopping for me when I crave Chicken and chips as I have moved many suburbs away. Bill and his family and a beautiful older lady were so kind to me as a child and I will never forget it. Their Hot Chips are the best I have ever had and the Chicken is always tender and tasty. Thank you so much Lemongrass Chicken for all your kindness during my childhood years. 35 years later, it is not forgotten. The biggest hug to the beautiful older lady who is one of the kindest people I have ever met.

Best fried chicken in Melbourne that I have seen. Quarter chicken about $5.40 but a few cents extra is worth it. North Balwyn so close to my home.

For years, this restaurant has been a legendary spot in the North Balwyn village. Family-owned, clean, and known for serving some of the best chips in the area. The roast chicken is also worth a try. We have been regular customers since the late 80's and despite a few changes, the restaurant is still family-run, clean, and enjoyable. They may not use a charcoal oven, but their chips are still some of the best in Melbourne. Thank you.

I have never been disappointed by this local chicken shop. It is a North Balwyn institution where moms bring their kids after school and Balwyn High year 12 students have their lunch during spare periods. They offer good deals and high-quality roasted chicken with a variety of salad options. My favorite dish is their Lasagne, which I believe is actually Pastitsio, a Greek dish. Despite the confusion, it is absolutely delicious when hot. While they offer food for take-away, I prefer to dine in. The family who owns this establishment is lovely and has worked hard to maintain a high standard. I believe they have even won awards for their efforts.
