Restaurant bewertenFood here was pretty good if not exceptional but there were lots of regulars who clearly love this place and are known to staff. Wine list is short but we found a couple of favourites and they were pretty good. Service was excellent and our visit was good value overall.
This does not match my favourite Thai restaurants but it still offers a very satisfactory Thai meal with great flavours and a diverse menu. We ate the banquet and enjoyed a very good bottle of wine at modest cost and realised that as locals we should have visited more often. We will return!
Refurbishment has given this favourite dining spot a modern, extremely inviting look complete with timber Thai-script walls and globe lighting spelling out CELADON. Not the first time we've been here, the food is always fresh and reasonably priced. It's licensed and allows BYO wine, and open for even just coffees during the day, should you wish. Service is attentive, but food coming from the kitchen on this night was slow despite there being only a half dozen people at the early hour and other diners ordering after us. For the spicier tongues amongst us, you can ask for however spicy you want it. That said, next time, we'd ask for medium spice, as our many dish orders straight off the menu were not overly Thai-flavoured nor spicy we found. With parking at the door, which in itself is a luxury in Camberwell, we'll give this restaurant another few tries certainly.
This welcoming Thai restaurant serves good Thai food at a very reasonable price. A recent refurbishment has made the restaurant very bright and comfortable. Certainly worth a visit.
Good food always consistent quality Prices not too bad Quantities tend to be small not dissimilar to most Thai places Worth a try
