Courtepaille - Bordeaux

Fabian and Louis very helpful in making sure we had good service and explained the courses well. Good choice of food but nothing inspiring when delivered. Really nice wine.

The servise is really slow and the food awful. Went there twice, the meat was always burned, not just mine!! So if you wanna drink something is okay.. it will be expensive but like everywhere in Bordeaux. Eating I wouldn't recomend it at all sorry :

Courtepaille was only average. We went there because they were open on a Sunday, and nearby the convention center. It's large, with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. It was my first meal in Bordeaux, so I tried a steak. And it was s big "miss-steak." It was way overcooked, arriving well done instead of medium-rare. I made it through, but it was like shoe leather. We won't return. If you go, stay away from the steaks.

We ate here twice, the first time as it was handy but we liked it so we ate there again. We had a lunch on our arrival before going into Bordeaux. Lovely mixed grill and a chicken salad. On our second night after a day in Bordeaux we managed to totter in ;) I had a lovely steak which was perfectly cooked "a point" and OH had a burger "medium". The service was very good and you can sit inside or out on the terrace. Would definitely eat there again.

Waiting food too long. Waiter is not professional at all.Do not know anything about wines well matched with foods.So called 'Andouillette' smells disgusting.I left whole portion after one bite.Do not waist your money here.There are tons of way better restaurants out there in downtown Bordeaux with comparable prices.
