Restaurant bewertenWe had been happy tonight at the Pont julien, It was barely open and some others came in. The food was almost inedible/over cooked and could hardly cut the lamb. The worst meal we had to go through in a month. We know why there were few diners. I'd never send anyone here!
The restaurant is not really in Bonnieux, just outside D900 west of Apt, but it is worth a trip or a lunch break (you can also visit the excellent Roman bridge nearby). We had a very essential menu of jour for lunch, with interesting and local tastes, including a very tasty filled refugee dish. Also the service was good, we only realized that woman had good English knowledge when we had gone, as she patiently helped us do everything in French, including the selection of local beer. Take a trip to taste this small and very real place.
Nice place, good value, Cordial. Very recommended and desserts were fabulous. Menu we had 15€ for main dish (fish) and dessert.
My wife and I went to the Pont Julien restaurant for lunch on Saturday. The day was a little breezy, so we cried inside. The interior of the restaurant is tres charming, the owner / host very welcoming, and the lunch was excellent, typical Provencal. The price was reasonable....We will return.
Nothing fancy, but a very very good and honest cuisine, with only fresh products. Every holiday in Provence (already 10 years) we come here, and we never had any remark. The Crunchy goat cheese (Croustillant de chèvre) and the Leg of lamb in pastry (Gigot...d'agneau en croûte) are incredible. Formula is simple : you pay one price. It's near the N100, but in a quet environment.
