Restaurant bewertenWe wanted a quick lunch in the area, but ended up losing an hour of our exploration time by coming here. The food was reasonable and not overly priced. There is no parking so just find a spot along the road. This is not a place for anyone with mobility issues.
Located in the old Orange Hall in Elliston, you are greeted with signs giving some of the history of the place. Inside, the place is clean and tidy. It is a local eatery, with local style food. You can even get a "jigg" dinner. Food was good and reasonably priced.
My fiance and I stopped by here for lunch one day.We had the special, fish cakes and raisin bread. The food was very good, we both enjoyed it. The service was fast and friendly. The building is an interesting place to turn into a restaurant, quaint, clean and spacious.
We stopped here for an early morning coffee and we're greeting with open arms. Stayed chatting to the owners for hours and received great hospitality and delicious raisin bread with homemade jam! What a delightful place in a beautiful setting! It's a must stop before or after seeing the puffins near by! Thanks so much guys!
Impressive restoration. Beautiful setting. Friendly and quick service. Seafood was better than the similarly priced restaurants in nearby Bonavista. Tried cod tongue here, it was tastier than calamari, but some may find the rubbery texture a bit gross. The chowder was good.
