Restaurant bewertenTruly the best pizza we've had in Italy and the suppli is great too. Friendly service, great prices, we waited a bit but well worth it. The rocula pizza was amazing the calzoni too. We highly recommend Flavio's pizza!
Excellent pizzas! Friendly owner and staff, and excellent prices. We will definitely be back to sample all the other foods, which looked so tempting! We recommend it! Grazie mille! A la prossima!
We visit this spot at least frequently delicious pizza, calzone, etc for lunch or to take. The crust is thin and tender with. nice little browned bits creative and tasty pizza taglio, pizza tonda is available and Flavio even delivers!! There is outside seating on a little side street perfect spot for some pizza and wine/beer for lunch Don't Miss This Treasure of a Place!!
If you are looking for quick and wholesome, value for money bite to eat while you are in Bolsena and are looking for a vegan option, we can throughly recommend Pizzeria San Rocco. We were able to chose between really good pizza slices with vegetable only toppings. There were also vegetable pies filled with delicious vegetables. The vegetables change with the season so that’s also interesting. You can sit down comfortably while you eat and also have the traditional beer with your meal. Flavio the owner and “pizzaiolo” (i.e. the chef) was very friendly and helpful when we explained our needs and we enjoyed a very tasty and satisfying quick lunch. Please do not forget that many traditional pizzas like the famous “marinara”, or the simple yet delicious “bianca” (i.e.plain) are already vegan.
Good value and catering for a wider range of tastes than a lot of the other restaurants in Bolsena, which lean heavily towards fish (either lake or sea). My teenagers don 't 'do ' fish and my father is allergic to onions and garlic so something of a challenge when we are out and about. The waiter was incredibly helpful once we had explained his challenges, my limited Italian and quite a lot of miming seeming to do it lol. The waiter went and checked with the chef to see if the dish my father had selected was going to be okay, and came back to confirm it had indeed got a little onion in it. But the chef had come up with an alternative dish that he was happy to cook fresh for my father without onions or garlic but still tasty and filling. Great atmosphere, relaxed and friendly. Well worth the walk down Via Antonio Gramsci to find it.
