Restaurant bewertenSawmill Tea & Coffee catered lunches, coffee breaks and our conference banquet. The food was all delicious, beautifully presented and was an EXCELLENT value.
This community space is a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with an inclusive work place for all abilities. They also make a fantastic Spicy Chai Latte!
Stopped here for coffee yesterday on way back from Intl Peace Garden. Having already spent a 8 hour long day, this place served us very nice coffee, a very cozy atmosphere and a pool table to freshen up. Loved it. Would recommend this place to anyone anytime. Everything was economically priced.
The Sawmill is a wonderful, community oriented organization that provides employment opportunities to individuals with intellectual challenges. The beverage selection is wonderful and includes teas, coffee and various cold beverages. There is also a section of craft beer, and wine?I have had lunch several times, the serving staff is very friendly. The meals are economically priced, my wrap with salad and coffee was less than $10.00 and always tasty.During the summer months they usually have a section of gelato for the warm days.Highly recommend you stop in and say hi!
The menu is not long and that is a good thing, it means the food is good, healthy and home-made. I think the thing I like the most about this restaurant is its philiosophy. The sign on the door is welcoming to all. It is a community-based not-for-profit business for the people who work there who live with mental "challenges" that would not allow them employment in most restaurants. I felt so happy to bring my children into this accepting and affordable place, the decor is nice and the atmosphere, with books, piano and comfortable seating, is very appealing. The soup of the day is always so homey. All of the cooking is just SCRUMPTIOUS" The people are so friendly. Every town needs a place like this!
