Restaurant bewertenWe visited this spot last night during the storm bomb that was engulfing Cornwall. We were on our way to the spooky tour of Bodmin Jail. Anyway we had fantastic fish and chips cups of tea and delicious curry sauce all served by an attentive and very hard working staff! Who weren't phased one bit when the lights went out due to a power cut, they just carried on regardless whilst the owner fixed the fuses! Worth a visit excellent quality!
Had a Steak and kidney pie and a Jumbo sausage and chips. The pie n chips was very nice my partner Jumbo sausage and chips said they enjoyed them. I would recommend to anyone visiting Bodmin have try you will enjoy them
What a rip off for such vile food soggy batter poor quality fish was uneatable will not be returning. Prices have gone up and quality gone down hill rapidly
I have visited this restaurant a few times in the past, but the quality has declined significantly. The last three visits were disappointing, with cold and undercooked chips that were not enjoyable. The pie was terrible and the fish was very greasy. I would not recommend this place.
Today, I went to this restaurant for cod and chips, but for £10, it was not worth it. The chips were cold, and the cod was soggy with non-crispy batter. The chips tasted like they had been sitting out for an hour before being ordered. On top of that, there was a hair in my batter. My sister ordered a burger which seemed like it had been cooked the day before and then reheated in the microwave. It was cold on the outside and not warm on the inside. It was a disappointing experience, and I do not recommend this place. The standards have definitely declined in the last few years, and I will not be returning.
