Restaurant bewertenAsian Braised Beef was generally tasty, but presentation was better than the taste. Beef was a little overcooked, but the kimche and sauce were flavorful (I usually dislike kimche). The bok choy was colorful, and impressive, but wad flavorless. The cilantro lime rice was just there...didn't contribute or detract. Simple drinks, gin tonic, took forever. Service was generally pleasant, but not knowledgeable. I think the better servers were outside, where the ambiance was loftier. I'd go back, and would order the same thing, but value wasn't exceptional.
Wonderful food, neighborly bar with great drinks, friendly service, charming period ambience, all nestled in a historic town with a significant history! It's a hands-down best-bet.
We are locals but hadn't been to Duffy's for a couple years. We were really surprised and pleased that our experience was excellent! The restaurant is a real historic gem and this time the food and service was too. Our drinks were great and not too expensive. Appetizer- salad and soup- were very good. Main entrees were also very good-duck breast and pork chop. The chop was especially tender and the duck breast was good but my son said the fat top should have been crispy. All in all, we will definitely be back soon and highly recommend it to others!
The fillet mignon was prepared as ordered. It was not over seasoned. It was delicious. The lump crabcakes were very good. They were not overly breaded. The cocktails are a bit on the expensive side. The Historic atmosphere is both interesting and pleasing. The ambient noise level maybe louder than one is used to but that's to be expected in an older building.
Had an enjoyable dinner at Duffy's Tavern! Outstanding waiter, food was perfect, and all in our party enjoyed the dining experience. Was a two hour drive, but worth it. Hoping to return again soon!
