Restaurant bewertenOrdered over $263 products after reading their website about how they raised their animals. The products took 4 days to arrive (as opposed to 2 days they advertised on their website for Michigan) and everything was completely thawed, and with some even lost their vacuum and filled with air! That?s not all, the bacon tastes NOTHING like heritage pork we have purchased before. It tastes the same as cheap supermarket bacon only cost 5 times more! The manager Jenni Harris was very defensive and offered no solution. I don?t mind spending premium on good quality products, but never waste it on these ones! Jenni Harris, In response to your comments below, I did tell your associate earlier that everything was thawed, but you came later to the call with an extreme hostile open statement and voice which indicated to me you were not there to listen or solve any problems but to start a fight! Hence you didn?t even let me finish what I had to say in the first place before interrupting me and told me it?s not possible your meat doesn?t taste good! And no, you talked to me for 5 minutes at most, and I was left on the phone waiting for over 10 minutes before you came to the call. You were extremely unprofessional! If you were not the owner?s daughter I can?t imagine someone like you can stay the head of customer service department!
Love White Oaks Pastures! This is how we should be raising animals the world over. They are truly stewards of the Earth, or at least their small slice of southern Georgia. Raising healthy animals that make healthier humans all while building new topsoil and sequestering more carbon into the soil than they emit into the environment. You can taste the quality in every bite. And did I mention that their customer service goers above and beyond? It doesn't get much better. White Oaks Pastures is a win-win. I can feel good about feeding my family and supporting the White Oaks Pastures family all at the same time.
Great stop while traveling. Strolled the store stocked with handmade honey, jellies, candy, jerky, peanuts, and various other food items; also very nice upscale farm-y products like leather jewelry, purses, etc. Also had homemade cakes/brownies that were GREAT! Outside had a very nice setup with lots of casual seating; also a horse barn adjacent. Will stop again when traveling this direction!
High quality meats and other products including fruit, soap, candles, leather goods, and even pet treats! Sustainable farm. The candles are INCREDIBLE!!! Wish we had the time to stay for lunch at their cafe! Lots to do there too with farm tours and even places to stay. Check out their website. Definitely a gem. Family owned and the folks working there were really nice! Get your pup a cow ear and watch how excited they get!
I received an order to New Jersey, and everything tasted delicious. You can taste the difference between them and other meats that aren?t grass-fed and grass-finished. The second trip didn?t go as planned because it was delayed, but I understand it happens. They fixed the problem, so 5 stars for their amazing customer service that matches their delicious meats! I will be ordering from here every month!
