Restaurant bewertenHad the Avocado Turkey, ordered straight off the menu no changes or customizing. Bread was delicious really enjoyed the crunch, texture and overall delightful quality of the bread. Very full flavored and well rounded bread can definitely stand on its own without detracting from the rest of the sandwich. Avocado was ripe, all around creamy and just the right amount to balance each bite. I wasn't overly impressed with the turkey but will look forward to trying other sandwiches before I form an opinion of the meat quality as I only tried one item. The other items added to the overall taste profile of the sandwich nicely I would definitely look forward to trying it again and adding or customizing to see the full experience this sandwich has to offer. All and all I would rate the food quality as well above average and generally delicious ??. The service was something else, I have never visited a Schlotzsky's before and would of appreciated a moment to look over the menu . I went through the drive thru and felt very rushed by the staff. They were friendly enough but asked me 3 times in as many minutes if I was ready to order when I had asked for time to review the menu. I would have had ordered a combo but as the staff kept pressuring me to order I did not have time to look over the side or drink options. As it was my first time, I would have been receptive to suggestions and options if the staff had offered, they did not. Like I said they were friendly enough but I felt rushed and that I was inconveniencing the staff by not already knowing the menu and what I wanted. If I go back to try more food options I will go inside so I don't have to deal with the attitude over the drive thru speaker. I am a big fan of sandwich joints in general, Subway, Jimmy Johns, Firehouse, and McAlister's, are all places I frequent on the reg. If you can sell me a good sandwich you will have a return customer for life, if you make me feel pressured and that I am an inconvenience to you I can get good sandwiches just up the road. Overall I would rate my experience as a ???? out of ????? for the food and would love to try more of the menu items. Service ?? out of ????? like I said they were not outright rude but I did not care for the attitude and pressuring from the staff I interacted with. Food, Great! Service, do better!
It wasn't bad. Girl behind counter was pretty nice. A little bit pricey for what we ordered. Eating out shouldn't cost what I put down on my house to buy it.
Over priced.. menu picture shows a stacked sammie...you get about 1/2 of what they show a 12$ 6inch round sammie with chips and small pop..as bad as subway..good sandwich just buy 2 if you hungry..its the same everywhere these days. .
We purchased 2 regular sized original sandwiches today at 4:30 pm we took them home to eat at 5:00pm when we opened them and began eating the bread was hard, tasted stale and was tough to chew . My wife said it makes her not want to get Schlotskys again. I love the flavor but I have to agree with her. It wasn't as pleasant experience as we have had in the past with Schlotskys. If you have other locations near by they might better. Please let us know. Update. The owners contacted and apologized for the sandwiches. They were going through some reorganization and assured me that they are doing everything to keep that from happening again. Their sandwiches are incredibly good so I will be returning.
People really need to know the job they signed up for. I ordered soup and they argued with me over if it comes with breadsticks. Menu says it comes with them. Then at 7pm at night they took the tea away which is all I can drink after surgery. Tea police apparently come in after 7pm to verify its put away. Why in the world would you put the tea away. Even behind the counter they put it away. They appeared to be closing early at 7pm when the sign says 10pm. Wont be back again.
